Hands-on Review: Flip UltraHD Camcorder Black

It is my first video recorder. The purpose of Flip UltraHD purchase was making impromptu memories with video in a simple and clear way. And I've certainly got what I wanted. As I've planned, I recorded video and uploaded it onto PC (with slow speed). Maybe in a while I'll need to acquire certain video editing skills and I'll buy other camcorder but now I really think that Flip UltraHD is a good way to start. The quality of the still photos taken from the video wasn't wonderful, but the video was rather good. Flip UltraHD is useful when I'm going to record some short event, not too long as it's memory is not really big.

In general, Flip is a good record device, but recently I've found one huge shortcoming of this device. I've bought Flip UltraHD a month ago and now I'm ready to say that the camera is really fine but its software isn't good. When I try to upload it to my high-tech computer it runs very slow. It takes almost an hour to upload video with 50 minutes duration. I've made several phone calls to Flip support team but they said this problem is caused by operating system of my PC. I still don't believe that it's true. I think that this shortcoming comes from the Flip UltraHD software.
