I bought the new FHX2300 for my children, to give them for their birthday as a gift. Before that I hesitated a lot because I couldn't find the one monitor, which met all my criteria. Finally I once got to the shop where they had this monitor presented for customers. I felt in love with this unit at once. The picture is so clear and bright. Even the smallest numbers are easy to understand and read.

Now I will get into the details. First of all, this widescreen LCD was developed specially for the most difficult and sophisticated graphics. The FHX2300 BMID is able to display every game, which has dynamic and fast action.

The design is great because I didn't have to think out the place for its situation. Very slim and fashionable body looks great even in a usual classic room.

Concerning the technology itself: 1080p support with HDCP, 1920 x 1080 HD resolution works brilliantly, 40000:1 contrast ratio, and up to 5ms response time. My friend complained (he has the same monitor) that he'd prefer to have larger response time, but as for my family, we enjoy the technology as it is. This monitor has DVI, HDMI and VGA video inputs and that allows synchronization of the unit with other devices you have.

We discovered that two in-build speakers (2 watts per speaker) are really great and work very well. They are convenient to use and we didn't even bought additional speakers or sound systems.

As one of my children is passionate about photography, he works with Photoshop often. He said that he likes working with this monitor a lot, because the color reproduction is high-quality and the colors are like natural, rather vivid. 16:9 widescreen is unusual a bit, but as for me, I like that size. It's very comfortable to watch films and so on.
