Hands-on Review: Optoma EP-PK-101 Pocket Projector

This guy (Optoma EP-PK-101) is my good friend for about three weeks. But during that short period I managed to love it very strongly!

I have already organized some movie-evenings with my friends and my Optoma EP-PK-101. I have also played some games and one more thing: I've watched pay per view videos with the help of this pocket projector.

I usually connect the device to Logitech audio system. And I like the way these two units deal with each other. The quality of 122 inch image is great. I enjoy every moment of watching. But I think it's possible to watch the movie on even bigger "screen". That depends only on your apartment's size.

When you try Optima, make your room approximately 90% dark. And it doesn't matter if your walls are not white. The quality would still be great.

Before I bought Optoma EP-PK-101 I, of course, had read some descriptions and reviews. And what can I say: I experienced the same effect as people and manufacturers promised. Of course if you are used to some expensive and more professional projectors, you can be disappointed. But if you just have this device you'll be only excited.

Truly say, I didn't like the speaker a lot. That's why I often use some separate systems to get the greater sound effect.

I haven't noticed any negative points during its work. And I also haven't found any defects. So I hope I won't find any in the future. My Optoma EP-PK-101 was tested a lot by myself. It fell of the table once, I was felt pity for the device but as I continued to use it, I haven't noticed any negative effects.

If your cell has TV-Out you can connect it with your Optoma EP-PK-101. But I haven't tried this yet. I just read some information. Though I easily connect my EP-PK-101 with my PC.

I like the way it works. It's very convenient and I can take it everywhere I go, to be able to arrange a slide-show or home cinema every moment.
