When I chose a light for myself I read tens review and this one amazed me. It was said that this porch was designed especially for police. It was created to be compact and still very powerful. And I believe that the goal was achieved. Because this light is in fact extremely convenient. I use it all the time. The size is about 5.2 inches. This characterizes the flashlight as really compact. The body was made specially to be easy charged so that the torch was always ready to help its owner.

Now several words about the light itself. What I love about the Brite Strike Tactical Blue is that the light is completely white. It’s amazing to use a torch like this - when you see everything clearly and accurately as it is in fact. The colors aren’t distorted and as it gives the light in a professional manner, you can not only see a spot where the light is, but the surrounding area as well. The light strength can reach 220 lumens!

There are three types of output. You set the one that fits your requirements ideally. When I used the high setting I noticed that it was on for about three hours. But I think that depends on the intensity – because in my case it was on constantly. In the manual I read that if you switch it on the medium power you can use it for about eight hours. I think you all agree that this is a lot of time for a torch.

Oh, almost forgot to mention that this torch functioned ideally when I was caught in the heavy rain. Thought I tried to hide the body of the Strobe Rechargeable LED Flashlight under my coat, I had little success and it still was out there in the rain. I thought that when I come home I’ll have nothing to work with again, but to my surprise it turned out to be waterproof and I even didn’t acted any special measures to dry it. I think the same situation is when it’s exposed to the rest of the elements. However lucky me – nothing except the rain has happened to me again.

Before I acquired this flashlight I had the one I purchased in the local shop. It was ok for its extremely low price, but the thing that annoyed me a lot was that I couldn’t switch it on and off with a light finger move. That drove me crazy! But this Brite Strike BDRC-HLS has a very sensitive button that allows to changes the modes or switch it on with a simple push.

I haven’t used this as a weapon yet, I hope I won’t need it this way, but still I’m sure you can definitely blind the attacker. Concerning the injures, I don’t think so because it’s not that heavy you could strike someone on his head and cause pain. But anyway it was designed as a torch and it fulfill its lifetime mission very well!
