The idea of Quoridor Classic is simple and attractive at the same time. Its model consists of wood game board, like chess board, and 4 pawns that can be moved on it. Each player has his own pawn and the side of the board as well. So, there are two or four players who can take part in the game. The goal of each opponent is to advance his pawn the opposite side of the board. Besides that, every player has at his disposal 5 or 10 fences that can be fixed in the slots between the squares of the board so that they block the progress of the opponent’s pawn. The process of the game makes a fantastic atmosphere with dizzy original plot and develops logical and analytical skills. A little number of rules allows enjoying the Quoridor in the company of a child. Each set lasts no more than 15 minutes, so it won’t take your time away if only you don’t want it. There is one more advantage of the Quoridor Classic – this game doesn’t make a player emotionally and psychologically tired, like chess do. No doubt, it is just that very thing which helps to have a good mood. It helped me to relax after an exhausting day several times, to put my thought into a positive stream.
